Ray Nelson: author, illustrator, graphic designer and publisher

In 2015 Banfield Pet Hospital wanted to create a series of children’s books to help young pet owners learn how to take care of their animals. Ray worked with the Banfield leadership team to create a story and characters that would help accomplish that goal. Ray wrote the stories, designed the characters, illustrated the pages and completed the graphic design. He then managed all aspects of production and publishing. Ten thousand copies of each “My Very Very Busy Day” and “My Very Very Smelly Breath” were printed and sold to raise money for the Banfield Pet Hospital Foundation!
